Why Lehigh? "Lehigh had the competitive softball program and the quality academics I was looking for. The campus in the fall is amazing and once I saw it for myself I was sold."

On the NCAA Tournament experience: “After going to Nebraska my freshman year, I was determined to get to the NCAA Tournament again. When we made it to Arizona it was just as amazing as the first time. The process of getting there is definitely the best part. As a team you go through so many ups and downs. Being able to see the result of this at the end of the season is incredible. Being able to compete against teams like Arizona and Nebraska is why you play Division I ball.”

As a junior…shifted from pitcher’s circle to third base where she was a second team All-Patriot selection… started 51 games at the hot corner… batted .269 and was third on the team with 25 runs batted in… belted first career home run against Lafayette (4/1)… smacked three hits against Monmouth (3/18)… named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll… as a sophomore…All-Patriot League second team selection … established herself as number two starter going 8-1 with 1.90 ERA… boasted sub 1.00 ERA entering Patriot League Tournament … tossed a complete game two hit shutout versus Villanova and a four-hit shutout against Fairfield… Named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll… As a freshman … immediately made an impact on the rotation, starting 26 contests … All-Patriot League second team selection … established a new Lehigh single season record with a miniscule 1.18 earned run average (tops in the Patriot League, and among the top 50 nationally) … her 156 strikeouts rank second on the team and third all-time in a single season at Lehigh … established a new Lehigh record with 16 strikeouts in one game (3/11 vs. Butler) … hurled four shutouts, while opponents hit only .186 against her … In High School … MVP of the varsity team all four years … team scholar-athlete all four years … accumulated the most strikeouts in the history of the program … had number retired … All-Area Player of the Year as voted on by the Glendale/Burbank media … Personal: Parents Laurie and Clay … has one brother, Keith (23).
