Why Lehigh?: “I thought the campus was very welcoming. I also felt that at Lehigh I could get both a great athletic and academic experience.”
On the NCAA Tournament Experience: “The NCAA tournament was simply amazing. Just being in a place where every team is playing at such a high level is a lot of fun. Beating Texas A&M was definitely the highlight and was also proof that we can compete with some of the best teams out there. The experience as a whole is something I’ll never forget.”
As a freshman… appeared in 23 games, making three starts behind the plate… scored eight runs… member of Patriot League Academic Honor Roll and Dean’s List… in high school… team captain… all-conference selection… named to state all-star team… member of National Honors Society… Personal: Daughter of Jim and Vicki Torborg… sister Carli (17).
