Why Lehigh? “From the first moment I stepped onto Lehigh’s campus I knew this is where I wanted to spend the next four years. The campus was beautiful, the atmosphere was very inviting and the softball team was so friendly and fun on my recruiting trip. Plus, Lehigh offers an amazing combination of distinguished academics and competitive softball which was just what I was looking for.”

On Coach Troyan: “Coach Troyan treats each of his players as if they are a member of his own family. He has gone out of his way to help me on countless occasions with academic, athletic, and personal issues. When it comes to softball he knows when its time to get down to business and work hard and also when to have fun and joke around.”

On the NCAA Tournament experience: “Making it the NCAA Regional Finals last year was exhilarating, and knocking off Texas A&M twice just showed how much hard work and dedication our whole team put into the season. It really meant a lot to all of us to bring such high esteem and recognition to our school and show the whole country that Lehigh softball is a force in the northeast.”

As a sophomore…appeared in 52 games, making 45 starts, primarily at second base… batted over .300 for second straight season… drilled first career home run versus Rutgers (3/17)… excellent bunter put down six successful sacrifices… stole nine bases in ten attempts… batted 7-for-12 (.583) in four games at NCAA Amherst Regional… named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll… as a freshman…appeared in 35 games, hitting over .300…delivered first two RBI of college career with triple in win over Lafayette… collected first multi-hit game going 2-for-3 in win over Villanova…In high school…member of 2002 state champion Kutztown softball team…all-division and all-county selection in both softball and field hockey…four-year letter winner in both sports… winner of several state and Berks county academic honors, member of national honor society… Personal: Daughter of Kevin and Susan Conrad… Brother Michael (17)... enjoys attending Lehigh wrestling matches as well as football and soccer games.
