Why Lehigh? "I choose Lehigh for its high academic reputation. Coach Shook convinced me that attending Lehigh would not only give me a quality education, but I would also help build a great team to compete in the Patriot League. When I visited, I loved the campus. It is very secluded, yet is close to a large city. It had everything I was looking for."
Player Profile: As a junior …was a Second-Team All-Patriot League player …was voted as the team’s Athlete of the Year award winner for the second consecutive season … a doubles first flight player with a record of 6-7 … as a sophomore … Second-Team All-Patriot League selection … team’s Athlete of the Year Award winner … posted a 12-4 record at second flight singles … recorded a record of 7-6 at first flight doubles and 2-1 at third flight … as a freshman … tied for first on the team for most singles wins with eight in the 2nd and 3rd flights … posted an even better doubles overall record with a 9-5 mark (3-2 in the league) … in secondary school … state doubles champion … regional champion … member of state championship team in 5A Division … recipient of Southwest Tennis Association Sportsmanship Award … participated in inter-district competition representing Phoenix … boys 18's ranked number four … boys 16's ranked number one … member of national honor society in '01 and '02.
