Why Lehigh? “I chose Lehigh because I really like the campus and it was a great opportunity to combine a great softball program with an outstanding education.”
On the NCAA Tournament experience: “It was amazing to play with some of the best schools in the country knowing we earned our spot there. It was a great experience to play at that level and be able to represent Patriot League and east coast softball.”
As a sophomore … named Patriot League Tournament MVP after ripping six hits in ten at-bats … All-Patriot League second team selection … started 54 games and led the team with a .359 average and .494 slugging percentage … her 15 doubles ranked first in the Patriot League … boasted an impressive fielding percentage of .992 registered two seven-game hitting streaks … hit .406 with runners in scoring position … As a freshman … selected to the All-Patriot League first team … hit .288 with 36 hits, including six doubles and five triples … started 43 games and had a fielding percentage of .991 … in high School … four-time first team All-EPC … three-time first team all-area … PA Sports Fever All-State team … Morning Call Player of the week … team MVP and captain her senior year … also played three years of varsity field hockey … Personal: Daughter of Thomas and Carol, has one sister, Laura (18).
