Why Lehigh?: “Lehigh presented the best combination of academic reputation and competitive softball of all the schools I was looking at. I thought it would be a great experience for me to spend four years on the east coast in a college environment.”
As a sophomore… an All-Patriot League second team selection, hit .355, with 43 hits, 11 doubles and 29 RBIs…started 45 games and had a fielding percentage of .929…stole 4 bases…as a freshman…hit average of .312 with 20 hits, seven doubles and a .453 slugging percentage…in High School…First Team All-League… First Team All-Area… MVP of Del Rio League… Second Team All Area… First Team All League in water polo… team captain in softball and water polo… league champions several times in both softball and water polo…principal’s honor roll all four years… received the Female Athlete of the Year award as a senior… Personal: Daughter of Cindy and Steve, sister Amy (20) attends Fullerton Junior College.
