Why Lehigh?: “For Lehigh’s academic prominence and the opportunity to play Division I football.”
As a senior (2022): Saw time in nine games, working at receiver and on special teams… had 11-yard reception in season-opener at Villanova (9/2).
As a junior (2021): Played in all 11 games, starting seven at wide receiver… finished second on team with 25 receptions… career receiving game with five catches for 53 yards against Villanova (9/4)… also had five receptions against Holy Cross (10/30)… first career touchdown reception against Georgetown (11/13)… returned blocked punt 12 yards for go-ahead touchdown in Rivalry 157 win over Lafayette (11/20).
As a sophomore (spring 2021): Appeared in all three games, making two starts at wide receiver… caught at least two passes in each game… had 46-yard reception against Holy Cross (3/13) which served as Lehigh’s longest pass play of the season… had three catches for 29 yards at Lafayette (4/10).
As a freshman (2019): Appeared in four games, primarily on special teams… debuted against Saint Francis (8/31).
In high school: Second team All-State Group II defensive back… second team All-South Jersey defensive back and offensive all-purpose player… two-time All-Conference wide receiver… member of state championship teams in 2017 and 2018… also competed in track and field.
Personal: Son of Jen and Sean Leonard and Glenn Foley… father played football at Boston College and was quarterback in the NFL from 1994-99, primarily with the New York Jets.
