2022 OUTDOORS: Recorded an eighth-place finish in both the high jump (1.80m) and 400H (1:00.06) at the Navy Spring Invitational... Finished fourth in the high jump with a mark of 1.85m at the Coach P Invitational... Polignano finished tenth overall in the high jump (1.85m) at the Carol and John Covert Classic... Named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
2022 INDOORS: Finished sixth in the high jump with a mark of 1.85m and ninth in the 60H with a time of 8.85 at Fast Times Before Finals... Was a member of the third-place 4x400 relay (3:38.24), also finished ninth in the high jump (1.80m) at the Angry Birds Invitational... Earned a PR in the triple jump at the Lafayette Dual where he finished fifth overall (11.72m)... Polignano recorded a tenth-place finish in the high jump with a mark of 1.85m at the Monmouth Winter Invitational... At the Bucknell Tune Up, he finished eighth in the high jump with a mark of 1.79m and ninth in the 60H with a time of 9.00.

Why did you choose Lehigh? I’ve competed here all four years of high school, so coming here felt natural and familiar. I felt confident and comfortable knowing that the Patriot League schools value academics right alongside athletics.
What’s your favorite thing about Lehigh? The people here are incomparable. I’ve been fortunate enough to make close friends, very quickly
Thoughts on Lehigh Coaching Staff: The coaching staff is amiable and committed. Coach Matt is dedicated but keeps a light-hearted attitude during practices that gets the best out of his athletes.
Major & Why: International Relations and Health, Medicine, & Society. I’ve always been interested in why history has taken the course that it has, and the mechanisms of foreign policy. Healthcare, and its access, is a pressing issue that affects the potential of innumerable people worldwide.
