Why Lehigh? “I chose Lehigh because it was the place that I could get the best education and still play softball at a highly competitive level. Of all the schools I was looking at, Lehigh had the strongest softball program and the best academics.”
On Coach Troyan: “That he is very supportive of his players and will do everything he can to make sure they succeed on and off the field.”
On the Lehigh softball experience: “The Lehigh softball team is a close knit family and I am so grateful that I have been welcomed with open arms. To me this experience means making friendships that will last a lifetime while doing something that I love and making myself a better player and person.”
As a senior: Team captain... third-team CoSIDA Academic All-American… second team All-Patriot League... second team NFCA All-Region… Academic All-Patriot League... CoSIDA Academic All-District... led Lehigh in batting average, hits, doubles and home runs... led Patriot League in walks and on-base percentage... ranked top five in the league in most offensive categories... became Lehigh’s career home run leader with her 26th against Albany (3/6)... drove in five runs in season-opener versus Youngstown State (2/26) and drove in nine over first three games... went 3-for-3 with school record-tying three doubles versus Indiana State (3/13)... went 4-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs versus Rutgers (3/18)... hit three-run home run for 200th career hit as part of four RBI day versus Colgate (4/8)... went 3-for-4 in series finale at Army West Point (4/17)… drove in only run of Lehigh’s first round Patriot League Tournament win over Bucknell (5/12) … named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
