Seven Mountain Hawks Recognized as NWCA Scholar All-Americans

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Seven members of the Lehigh women's wrestling team were recognized as Scholar All-Americans as announced by the National Wrestling Coaches Association last week. Lehigh's honorees include six wrestlers who competed at the NCAA Super Region 2 meet in February, four NCAA Championships qualifiers and all three of Lehigh's All-Americans.

Genevieve An – Behavioral Neuroscience and Chemical Engineering
Abbi Cooper – Arts and Sciences
Audrey Jimenez – Sociology
Aubre Krazer – Arts and Sciences
Makynna Loepp – Political Science
Hattie Mack – Arts and Sciences
Sydney Thompson – Journalism and Sociology

An, Cooper, Jimenez and Krazer competed at the inaugural NCAA NC Women's Wrestling Championships earlier this month. Jimenez won a national championship at 110 pounds, while Krazer (3rd at 131) and Cooper (7th at 117) also earned All-America honors.

Lehigh won the Super Region 2 team championship and went on to place sixth at the NCAA Championships.
