Lehigh Receives 16-Seed, Will Face Prairie View A&M In First Four

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – After winning their fourth Patriot League championship on Wednesday, Lehigh men's basketball has received its seeding and opponent for the 2026 NCAA Tournament. The 16th-seeded Mountain Hawks will face the 16th-seeded Prairie View A&M Panthers in the First Four in Dayton, Ohio on Wednesday, March 18 at 6:40 p.m.
Lehigh (18-16, 11-7 Patriot League) is making its sixth overall appearance in the NCAA Tournament and third under Murray H. Goodman '48 head coach Brett Reed. The Mountain Hawks finished second in the Patriot League and punched their ticket with a 74-70 win over fourth-seeded Boston University on Wednesday. Prairie View A&M (18-17, 9-9 SWAC) finished eighth in the SWAC and upset third-seeded Southern 72-66 in the championship game on Saturday.
Should the Mountain Hawks win, they will face No. 1 Florida on Friday, March 20 in Tampa, Florida.
Wednesday's game will be broadcast on truTV at 6:40 p.m. EST. Lehigh fans can also listen on Fox Sports Radio 94.7 FM and 1230 AM with Tom Fallon and Greg Falkenbach on the call.
