BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The 2026 Lehigh football schedule was unveiled Friday in conjunction with the release of the 2026 Patriot League football schedule.

The two-time defending Patriot League champion Mountain Hawks will play 12 games in 2026, including nine Patriot League contests with the addition of Villanova and William & Mary as associate members for the 2026 campaign.

Lehigh won its league-leading 14th Patriot League football title in 2025, completing a 12-0 regular season, and advanced to the second round of the FCS Playoffs for the second straight season. The Mountain Hawks will play five games at Goodman Stadium, which last month saw nearly 9,000 fans fill the stands for the third FCS Playoff game in stadium history.

The 2026 season begins with back-to-back Patriot League road contests and three consecutive league games overall. Lehigh will travel to Holy Cross during Week 0, Aug. 29 at Fitton Field and will then visit Georgetown the following weekend.

The home opener is set for Sept. 12 against William & Mary, with the Mountain Hawks facing a league newcomer in its home opener for the second straight season. The William & Mary game is followed by Dartmouth's first visit to Goodman Stadium since 1996 on Sept. 19.

September concludes with a visit to Penn on Sept. 26 before the Mountain Hawks return to Goodman Stadium for a Patriot League clash with Fordham Oct. 3.

Lehigh will have its bye week Oct. 10 and will return from the bye with back-to-back road games. The Mountain Hawks will visit Cornell for their third and final Ivy League opponent and the non-league finale on Oct. 17 and then will travel down the Main Line to face Villanova (Oct. 24) in a rematch of the second-round playoff game from Dec. 6.

The home schedule concludes with consecutive league games against Bucknell (Oct. 31) and Colgate (Nov. 7). Lehigh will visit Richmond for a league game for the first time on Nov. 14 and then will conclude the regular season at Lafayette in the 162nd meeting of college football's most-played rivalry, Nov. 21 at Fisher Stadium in Easton.

Ticket and promotional date information for the 2026 football season will be announced at a later date.
