BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh sophomore Kelly Fricker has been named to D1Softball's Preseason Mid-Major D100 Player Rankings, D1Softball announced Monday. Fricker, the Patriot League Rookie of the Year, a second team NFCA All-Region honoree and a D1Softball Freshman All-American in 2025, comes in at No. 29 on the list of the top mid-major players in the country.

Fricker started all 52 games for the Mountain Hawks last season, and hit .439 with 79 hits, 17 doubles, 27 RBIs and 41 runs scored last season. The 79 hits tied Lehigh's single season record and ranked 21st in the nation. Fricker's .439 batting average led the Patriot League and ranked 19th nationally.

The West Chester, Pa., native is one of four Patriot League players named to the Mid-Major D100 Player Rankings and the top position player among league student-athletes.

The Mountain Hawks have begun preseason preparations for the 2026 season, which begins at FIU's Felsberg Invitational, Feb. 6-8 in Miami, Fla.
