Lehigh Swimming and Diving Welcomes 18 Newcomers

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh head coach Rob Herb has announced the newest members of the Mountain Hawks' swimming and diving program. Herb has added 18 swimmers and divers, including 10 men and eight women to the program.

"This new generation of Lehigh swimmers and divers is a strong one," Herb said. "We are so lucky to welcome a diverse, academically powerful and athletically talented new class. Their impact will be epic."

Genevieve Cody - Sprint Free - Jefferson Hills, Pa./Thomas Jefferson - Arts and Sciences
Three-time PIAA All-State… owns eight career state medals… 2A WPIAL Champion in 200 free relay… owns nine school records… swam for South Hills Aquatics.

Reagan Gilligan - Back/Free - Montclair, N.J./Montclair - Business
All-Super Essex Conference first team… Cullen Jones Award winner as Essex County MVP in 2024… swam for Cougar Aquatic Team.

Emma Gyorkos - Breast - Fremont, Calif./Washington - Arts and Sciences
2023 Scholastic All-American… Winter Juniors qualifier in the 200 breaststroke… swam for Palo Alto Stanford Aquatics.

Eliza Johnson - Back - Wilmington, Del./Ursuline Academy - IDEAS
First-team All-State… Delaware State Swimmer of the Year… DIAA Scholar-Athlete… swam for Wilmington Aquatic Club… also state qualifier in the pole vault in track and field… Class Valedictorian.

Giselle Michaels - Sprint Free - Jersey City, N.J./McNair - Explore Lehigh
Four-time Hudson County champion… Futures Championship qualifier… county record holder in 50 free, 100 free and 100 back… swam for Jersey Flyers Aquatic Club.

Sophie Perry - Free/Back - Cary, N.C./Apex - Arts and Sciences
Cougar Award winner (high school team award for sportsmanship and attitude)... NISCA All-American… swam for YOTA (YMCA of Triangle Area).

Jayden Yochai - Dive - Hewlett, N.Y./Hewlett - Arts and Sciences
Two-time Division Champion and two-time Conference Champion in diving… also competed in track and field and was conference and county champion pole vaulter… competed for Long Island Divers.

Bonita Zuo - Back/Fly/IM - Easton, Pa./Home Schooled - Arts and Sciences
Invited to National Diversity Select Camp at U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Training Center… used to compete in synchronized swimming and taekwondo.

Spencer Campbell - Fly/Free - Midlothian, Va./Clover Hill - Engineering
Scholastic All-American… Winter Junior National qualifier in the 200 fly… multi-time NCSA finalist in the 200 fly… swam for Poseidon Swimming.

Jake Greenleaf - Free - Moorestown, N.J./Moorestown - Arts and Sciences
Two-time All-South Jersey, including one first team honor… second team All-State… three-time first team All-Conference.. Three-time Burlington County champion… holds high school records in 200 free and 500 free… three-time high point award winner for SJAC.

TJ Hayes - Free - Havertown, Pa./Haverford Township - Arts and Sciences
Three-time All-Central League including two-time first team… two-time All-Delco, including first team as a senior… Central League champion in 200 free, 500 free, 200 medley relay and 400 free relay… All-District in those same four events… member of All-State 400 free relay and honorable mention All-State in 200 free and 200 medley relay… Academic All-American… swam for Suburban Seahawks Club.

Four-year all-conference… finished fourth in the state in the 50 free and the 100 free in 2024… member of eight all-state relay teams between 2021 and 2023… swam for Empire KC… also all-state performer in tennis.

Spencer Ridge - Breast/IM - Henrico, Va./Godwin - Engineering
All-Metro team… VSI All-Star team… NCSA Junior National medalist… Speedo Summer Junior Qualifier… swam for Nova of Virginia Aquatics.

Braeden Roach - Fly/Free - Fayetteville, Ga./Starr's Mill - Business
Four-time school record holder (50 free, 100 free, 200 free, 500 free)... U.S. Futures Championship qualifier… two-time county record holder (200 free and 200 free relay)... swam for Peachtree Aquatic Club.

Sam Skibo - Back/Free - Ridgewood, N.J./Ridgewood - Arts and Sciences
All-league and all-conference swimmer… top 16 at YMCA Nationals… swam for Wyckoff YMCA Sharks.

Andrew Takach - Breast/IM - Sterling, Va./Rock Ridge - Computer Science & Business
Two-time all-state with runner up finish in 200 IM and third place finish in 100 breast… NCSA Junior National qualifier and two-time top-15 finalist (200 breast and 400 IM)... captained high school team and Nation's Capital Swim Club team… also competed in soccer and taekwondo.
