
Martin, Williams Lauded as Swimming and Diving Scholar-Athlete Award Winners

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh head coach Rob Herb has announced senior Natalie Martin and junior Aaron Williams as recipients of the swimming and diving program's Scholar-Athlete awards for the 2024-25 season.

An Arlington, Va., native, Martin graduated last month with a 3.93 in the P.C. Rossin College of Engineering and Applied Sciences' computer science program. She posted perfect 4.0 semesters in four of her eight semesters on campus and will be working with the IBM Data Analysis team in Washington, D.C. next year.

In the pool, Martin earned second team All-Patriot League honors twice while leading Lehigh's women's distance crew. She scored and reached Patriot League finals in the 500 free (with a best time of 4:55.68), the 200 fly (with a best time of 2:00.06) and the 1650 free (best time of 17:05.54). Martin also swam the 1000 free during nearly all duals in her four years, with a top time of 10:16.94.

A finance major from Williamstown, N.J., Williams holds a 3.59 cumulative GPA. His academic efforts were rewarded this year as he was named a Martindale Scholar, one of Lehigh's most prestigious academic organizations. Williams will be traveling to Croatia this summer with a delegation from Lehigh that will meet with government and business leaders.

Williams is a two-year team captain for the Mountain Hawks and a leader in the sprint program. He is the program record holder in the 100 fly (48.25) and is a member of both the 200 and 400 medley relay teams that own team records. Williams swam the 50 and 100 free and the 100 fly and was also a member three relay teams at the 2025 Patriot League Championships.
