BETHLEHEM, Pa. – After more than a month away from competition, the Lehigh women's golf team will return to action at the Georgia State Invitational, Monday and Tuesday at Rivermont Golf Club in Johns Creek, Ga. The 54-hole event will feature 36 holes on Monday and 18 on Tuesday at the 6,095-yard, par-72 course at Rivermont Golf Club. Action begins with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start both days.

Fifteen teams are set to compete at the event: Appalachian State, Bradley, Bryant, Dayton, Eastern Michigan, Eastern Kentucky, Georgia State, Lehigh, Little Rock, Memphis, Murray State, Queens, Seton Hall, Troy and Utah Tech. The Mountain Hawks will be grouped with Murray State and Utah Tech on day one Monday.

Lehigh opened its spring season with a seventh-place finish at the Atlantic Invitational, Feb. 12-13 in Lake Worth, Fla. Junior Madison Pineda and senior Venecia Zaia tied as the low Mountain Hawks, finishing at 232 to tie for 22nd place.

Pineda and Zaia will compete for the Mountain Hawks in Georgia, along with sophomore Yuki Zhu and first-years Stefania Fedun and Olivia Lu. First-year Bella Scanapicco will compete as an individual.

Following the Georgia State Invitational, Lehigh will compete in the Rutgers Invitational, April 6-7 in Piscataway, N.J.
