
Lehigh Closes Out Regular Season at Lafayette

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh men's soccer closes out the regular season on Tuesday versus Lafayette at 7 p.m. in Easton. Tuesday's game is a must-win for the Mountain Hawks as they aim to clinch a spot in the Patriot League Tournament.Â
Lehigh comes into Tuesday's game with a 5-9-3 overall record and a 3-4-1 league record. The Leopards are 8-5-4 (3-3-2 PL). The Mountain Hawks are currently ninth in the Patriot League standings and the Leopards are tied for fourth with 11 points.Â
Lehigh is coming off a 2-1 loss to Colgate after the Raiders netted the game-winning goal in the 89th minute. Senior midfielder Perry Kingson netted the lone goal for the Mountain Hawks on a penalty kick in the 71st minute. Kingson leads the way for the Mountain Hawks with 14 points on five goals and four assists.Â
Kingson is tied for first in the league in points with Lafayette's Roy Biegon, who has netted six goals and two assists. First-year forward Aiden Gonzalez and sophomore forward Tommy Robertson are next in points, both scoring seven points with three goals and an assist.Â
The Leopards are coming off of a 1-1 tie with Bucknell.Â
Senior goalkeeper Blake Koski owns a 65.6% save percentage while Lafayette's Griffin Huff holds a 77% save percentage.Â
Lehigh leads the all-time series 60-50-11. The Leopards defeated the Mountain Hawks 1-0 last season at the Ulrich Sports Complex as Lawerence Aydlett scored the lone goal for Lafayette.Â
