BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh men's cross country will be competing at the Patriot League Championships this Saturday on the campus of Lafayette College in Easton. The men's race will begin at 12 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.

Lehigh's last competiton came at the IC4A Championships at Van Cortlandt Park in New York City, which ended up being a very successful day for the Mountain Hawks. The Mountain Hawks placed seventh out of 24 competing teams while senior Kevin Harvey took home second place overall with a time of 24:36.5. Other top finishers for Lehigh included senior Aidan Lynch (35th, 25:19.9), junior Dan Malatesta (36th, 25:20.0) and sophomore Ryan Baker (38th, 25:22.0).

Lehigh competed at Lafayette's course earlier this season for the annual rivalry dual meet race between the Mountain Hawks and the Leopards. The Mountain Hawks took care of business with a 19-42 win to extend their winning streak over the Leopards to 25.

At last year's Patriot League Championships, the Mountain Hawks landed two runners on the All-Patriot League team, those being Rookie of the Year Thomas Smigo on the first team and Lynch on the second team. Following Saturday's race, the men will be in action again on November 15 for the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional. The event will take place on the campus of Penn State University.
