BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Following a number of sensational defensive plays in Saturday's 3-3 tie vs. Army West Point, senior Erin Keefe has been named Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week, as announced Monday. An anchor at center back, Keefe made a pair of team saves, while also making a potentially game-saving stop in the final minutes of double overtime.

Keefe's team saves came in the 48th minute to save a sure goal, while adding another team stop in the 97th minute. She also made a huge play with just over a minute left in double overtime to come over and block an Army shot attempt from point-blank range and thwart a dangerous opportunity.

Also recognized among the honorable mentions was junior Julianna Bonner, who tallied a goal and assist on Saturday.

Lehigh returns to action on Wednesday when it travels to Lafayette to face the Leopards. Gametime is set for 7 p.m. on ESPN+.
