
Lehigh Has Top Three Individuals in 25 Stroke Victory Over La Salle

AMBLER, Pa. – Despite being limited to four active players, the Lehigh women's golf team posted a 25 stroke victory over La Salle Monday in stroke play at Talamore Country Club. The Mountain Hawks had the top three individuals and went on to defeat the Explorers 343-368.
Senior Angela Ding led the charge for the Mountain Hawks, shooting eight over par 80 to pace the 10-player field. Sophomore Hannah Foster finished second with an 83 and freshman Sophie Holland finished third with a round of 85.
Sophomore Marina Mendez shot 95 to finish in sixth place.
La Salle was led by Hannah Basler's 86.
Lehigh and La Salle will meet again in stroke play Tuesday, this time at the Steel Club in Hellertown, Pa., with first tee times set for 11 a.m.
