Lehigh Enjoys Another Strong Showing In Tuesday Win Over La Salle

HELLERTOWN, Pa. – Taking on La Salle for the second straight day, the Lehigh women's golf team had four of the top five individual performances as the Mountain Hawks once again bested the Explorers, this time 318-339 Tuesday at The Steel Club.
On Tuesday it was freshman Sophie Holland leading the way with a three over par 75, while sophomores Hannah Foster and Marina Mendez were part of a three-way tie for second place at 79. For Mendez, it was the lowest round of her Lehigh career.
Senior Angela Ding rounded out the four-player Lehigh contingent with an 85.
Kayleigh Zeman led La Salle, tying Foster and Mendez for second place with a 79.
Next up for the Mountain Hawks will be the Patriot League Championship, which Lehigh will host April 24-25 on the Grace Course at Saucon Valley Country Club.
