12 Rings, 12 Weeks series to highlight football program's 12 Patriot League titles

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Missing Lehigh football? We sure are. While the COVID-19 pandemic forced the cancellation of Lehigh's fall 2020 football season, Lehigh Athletics will be using the time to take a trip down memory lane with the introduction of the 12 Rings, 12 Weeks series, debuting Monday.
During every week of what would have been the 2020 regular season, Lehigh will look back at one of its league-best 12 Patriot League championship teams with social media content on Facebook (@LehighUniversityFootball), Twitter (@LehighFootball) and Instagram (@Lehigh_Football).
Weekly content will include photos and video highlights, alumni interviews and the potential re-airing of classic games from those championship seasons.
The series debuts Monday with a look back at Lehigh's first Patriot League championship team from 1993. That year the Engineers, under head coach Hank Small went 7-4 overall and 4-1 in the Patriot League. Lehigh clinched the league title with a 39-14 win over Lafayette in the 129th edition of The Rivalry. We'll catch up with linebacker and team co-captain Lance Haynes '94.
