
Lehigh rolls to head-to-head win over La Salle in stroke play match Sunday

GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Lehigh women's golf team posted a convincing head-to-head stroke play victory over La Salle Sunday at LuLu Country Club. The Mountain Hawks posted a score of 311, and had six of the top seven players in the 12-player field, while La Salle shot 365.
Senior Reagan Jahn was the low player on the day carding a three over par 74. Junior Minuette Laessig was two strokes behind with a 76. Senior Aileen Jeong and sophomore Angela Ding had the next two lowest scores, a 79 and 82, respectively to account for Lehigh's score of 311.
Sophomore Rebecca Markunas tied for the fifth-lowest score with an 85, while freshman Alexis Carras, competing as an individual was one stroke behind, finishing seventh with an 86.
Lehigh will return to tournament play when the Mountain Hawks compete in Georgetown's Hoya Invitational, April 8-9 in Beallsville, Md.
