Lehigh returns to the Ulrich Sports Complex to face Loyola Saturday

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Following a Patriot League scoreless draw against Army West Point and a 2-0 road loss to No. 12 Georgetown, the Lehigh men's soccer team (7-3-1, 3-0-1 PL) returns to the Ulrich Sports Complex on Saturday night against Loyola Maryland (5-6-0, 3-1-0 PL) for their fifth league matchup of the season. Lehigh has registered wins in four of its last six matchups and includes victories over American, Boston University and Colgate.
 
Lehigh is led by sophomore Josh Luchini, who has netted nine goals for 18 points in the first 11 games. Junior Trevor Koski ranks second on the team with eight points from two goals and four assists, while fifth-year Alex Greene also has four assists to his name.
 
Junior co-captain Stevo Bednarsky has netted two goals in four games and looks to add on to this momentum against Loyola.
 
Overall, the Mountain Hawks have scored 16 goals and tallied 16 assists this season.
 
Defensively, senior goalkeeper Will Smith comes into the contest with a .771 save percentage and has goals allowed average of 0.98 goals per game.
 
Loyola, two-time defending Patriot League regular season champions, comes into the game with a three-game winning streak against Bucknell, Lafayette and Mount St. Mary's. In these three games, the Greyhounds have netted a total of 9 goals. They are led by senior Brian Saramago, who has scored 11 points from three goals and five assists. Fellow senior Barry Sharifi comes in second on the team in scoring with four goals and two assists for a total of 10 points. Junior goalkeeper Chase Vosvick has registered just over 824 minutes this season with a GAA of 1.64, while making 21 saves with a save percentage of .583.
 
The all-time match-up between the Mountain Hawks and Greyhounds is tied up at 3-3, with Loyola winning the last matchup 1-0 in 2018. 
 
Saturday's matchup will be streamed live on the Patriot League Network with coverage beginning at 6 p.m.
