HOWIE-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. – With a one over par 73, junior Johnny Hsu led the Lehigh men's golf team on the final day of the Mission Inn Spring Spectacular Sunday on the El Campeon Course at the Mission Inn Resort. Hsu delivered the low round of the day as the Mountain Hawks shot 306 on Sunday to finish the 54-hole event at 914 (302-306-306).
 
Hsu's 73 included three birdies as he was able to move up to a tie for 32nd place at 230 (79-78-73).
 
Sophomore Owen Quinn was the low Lehigh player for the tournament, tying for 10th place at 221 (68-74-79). Quinn's opening round 68 on Saturday was the lowest of the weekend for the Mountain Hawks.
 
Lehigh's No. 2 finisher was sophomore Ryan Kelly, who tied for 28th place at 229 (77-75-77). Kelly matched Hsu with three birdies in his final round 77.
 
Senior Billy Johns finished in 56th place with a 238 (78-83-77), while junior Lee Hammerschmidt finished at 257 (84-79-94) and claimed 77th place.
 
Juniors Max Redetzke and Eamon Marone competed as individuals and finished one stroke apart. Redetzke finished 71st at 252 (89-79-84), while Marone tied for 72nd at 253 (89-77-87).
 
TCU rolled to the team title at 866 (304-281-281), defeating second place Toledo by 20 strokes. Indiana finished third, 22 strokes off the pace.
 
The Horned Frogs also had the individual medalist as individual David Ravetto shot seven under par 209 (70-69-70) to post a four shot victory over Jordan Warnock of USC Upstate.
 
Lehigh will return to action when the Mountain Hawks play in Lafayette's Invitational, April 1-2 at Silver Creek Country Club in Hellertown.
