Lehigh Hosts Seton Hall Tuesday in Non-League Battle

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh men's soccer team will look to extend its win streak to three games when the Mountain Hawks host Seton Hall on Tuesday. Kickoff from Ulrich Sports Complex is slated for a 6 p.m. with live video available on the Patriot League Network.
Lehigh (3-2-0) is fresh off a 3-0 shutout against Penn in Philadelphia on Thursday. Junior Mark Forrest tallied his team-high fifth goal of the year in the 56th minute in the victory. Senior Jack Miskel put the Mountain Hawks up 1-0 with a header that slipped inside the back post in the 40th minute. Senior Doyle Tuvesson anchored the Lehigh offense in the victory. In addition to assisting two other goals, Tuvesson unleashed a low strike to the left corner from 18 yards out to for his first goal of the year in the 47th minute. Sophomore goalkeeper Will Smith picked up his first shutout of the year.
For their performance, Tuvesson garnered Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week honors while Smith was named the Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week. The Mountain Hawks' weekly award title is now up to three.
The Pirates enter Tuesday's game 3-4-1 on the year after dropping their last two games to St. John's and Delaware. Seton Hall is 2-1 on the road this season and the Mountain Hawks will be its final non-conference matchup of the season. Andres Arcila ranks third in the Big East with four goals to go along with three assists. Steven Catudal and Elliot Munford have each started four games in goal for the Pirates. Munford has a 1.20 GAA, 13 saves and a .722 save percentage to go along with a 3-0 record. Catudal has tallied 18 saves and a .750 save percentage in his 380 minutes of work.
Seton Hall leads the all-time series 2-1-0 against Lehigh with the last matchup resulting in an exciting 4-3 overtime win for the Pirates last fall. Lehigh's first and only victory came in 1997.
Following the matchup with Seton Hall, Lehigh will begin preparation for its Patriot League opener on Saturday. The Mountain Hawks are scheduled to kick off league play against Army from Ulrich Sports Complex. The game is slated for a 7 p.m. start with live video available on the Patriot League Network.
