BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Coming off one of its biggest victories in recent years, the Lehigh field hockey team will look to carry the momentum into this coming weekend as it heads to Lock Haven on Saturday and hosts Georgetown on Sunday. Both games are set to begin at 1 p.m. Sunday's contest is also Senior Day as Jackie Renda, Julia Washburn, Laura Yuh and Alexis Arancio will be recognized prior to gametime.

The Mountain Hawks are coming off a thrilling 1-0 overtime victory over Lafayette last Friday, Lehigh's first win over the Leopards since 2005 – snapping a 13-game losing streak in the all-time series. The game's first and only goal came at exactly 85:00, with no time remaining in the first overtime period. On Lehigh's second consecutive penalty corner with time expired, Renda fed Washburn and junior Teresa Carotenuto blasted her season-high fourth goal of the season. No goal was bigger than Friday's as Lehigh improved to 1-3 in Patriot League play this season, keeping the Mountain Hawks' Patriot League Tournament hopes alive.

Sophomore goalkeeper Paige Innarella was stellar, posting a 12-save shutout. The save total was just one shy of tying her career high set earlier this season vs. Ohio State. It marked her second shutout of the season and third shutout of her career, although she was also part of two additional combined shutouts during her freshman campaign. Innarella was recognized with Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week (and was named honorable mention on the NFHCA's weekly honor roll) while Renda earned Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week. A defensive midfielder, Renda helped lead a defense that shut-out Lafayette for just the sixth time in its last 56 games against Patriot League opponents (including the postseason).

Lehigh will head to Lock Haven on Saturday to face a Bald Eagles' team that enters the weekend with an 8-5 record. Lock Haven is also 3-3 in the Atlantic 10, heading into a Friday tilt vs. Richmond. Tamia Roach leads Lock Haven with eight goals and 19 points while Alyscia Smith has tallied 17 points (seven goals, three assists). Tia Judy leads the Bald Eagles in assists with nine while MacKenzie Farley has eight points behind four goals. Emily Robb owns Lock Haven's only two defensive saves on the season while Paige Stuppy has played every minute in goal, recording a 1.32 goals against average and 0.766 save percentage.

Lock Haven leads the all-time series, 7-1. Lock Haven won the first-ever meeting in 1981, 1-0, while the teams most recently met in 2015, a 4-1 Bald Eagles' victory. Lehigh's only-ever win came in 2013 via a 2-1 final.

The Hoyas are enjoying an impressive season, entering the weekend with a 7-6 record and 1-3 in the Big East. Most recently, Georgetown defeated Temple (3-2) and LIU Brooklyn (9-0) before falling to Liberty (3-0), heading into a Friday matchup at Providence. Cami Osborne leads the team in goals (9) and points (19) while five others have reached double-figure points. Ali Cronin also has 14 points (four goals, six assists) and Lindsay Getz has 12 (six goals). Katie Maransky leads the Hoyas in assists with seven. Anna Farley owns the team's only defensive save, while adding 11 points (three goals, five assists). Chloe Verwiel has played every minute in goal, recording a 2.49 GAA and 0.723 save percentage.

Lehigh leads the all-time series vs. Georgetown, 9-5, but the Hoyas have won two straight meetings. This came after three straight Mountain Hawk victories. The sides first met in 2003, a 3-1 Georgetown win. Lehigh's first win came in 2004, 4-0.

Following this weekend, the Mountain Hawks will return home for the final time in the regular season when they welcome Boston University on Saturday, Oct. 21 at 1 p.m.
