BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh men's golf team returns to the road for its second fall tournament as the Mountain Hawks will play in the two-day, 36-hole Bucknell Invitational beginning Saturday at the Bucknell Golf Club.

The Mountain Hawks opened their fall campaign by tying for seventh at the Alex Lagowitz Memorial Invitational last weekend. Lehigh's top two finishers were freshmen, with Ryan Kelly tying for 20th place and Owen Quinn tying for 22nd.

Junior Billy Johns and sophomores Eamon Marone and Johnny Hsu also were part of Lehigh's scoring team last weekend while sophomore Lee Hammerschmidt competed as an individual.

The Bucknell Golf Club plays to a par-70. This year's field consists of two teams from Bucknell, two from Navy, Lehigh, Lafayette, La Salle, Saint Joseph's, Robert Morris, St. Francis Brooklyn, Hampton, Wayne State, Messiah, Humber and Ottawa. The Mountain Hawks will be playing with Lafayette and La Salle on Saturday with tee times beginning at 9 a.m.

Robert Morris is the defending champion while Lafayette finished second last year.

Bucknell will offer live scoring through Birdie Fire.

Lehigh's last visit to the Bucknell Invitational was in 2012 when the Mountain Hawks won in an eight-team field. Later that season Lehigh captured its most recent Patriot League Championship.

The Mountain Hawks will return to the Bucknell Golf Club in April when the Bison host the 2017 Patriot League Championship.

Following the Bucknell Invitational, Lehigh will be off until the Binghamton Invitational Oct. 2-3.
