Mountain Hawks to Host Saint Francis on Tuesday Night

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh men's soccer team will return home to the Ulrich Sports Complex on Tuesday night to host Saint Francis (Pa.) in a non-conference match starting at 7 p.m.

Live video will be provided on the Patriot League Network for Tuesday's match and live stats will be available on lehighsports.com. Admission will be free of charge.

The Mountain Hawks will enter Tuesday night's tilt with a 2-5-1 record on the season and are winless in their last three matches with a record of 0-2-1. Lehigh is coming off a 3-1 loss last Saturday night in the team's Patriot League opener at Holy Cross. The Crusaders tallied two second-half goals after Lehigh tied the game, 1-1, prior to halftime. Holy Cross is now 5-0 at home this season.

Saint Francis will roll into Bethlehem with a 6-3 record on the season and is 4-1 in its last five contests. The Red Flash is coming off a 3-0 win at home last Wednesday over Bucknell. SFU tallied all three of its goals in the second half on the way to its fourth shutout win of the season.

Lehigh is led offensively by sophomore forward Mark Forrest who has 11 points on four goals and three assists. Junior midfielder Jack Miskel ranks second on the squad with four points and his two goals are the only LU goals scored in the last two games. Saint Francis has a balanced offensive attack with three players leading the way with five points each. Jack Webber and Troye Kiernan both have two goals and one assist, while Dominic Ramirez has a goal and a team-high three assists.

Lehigh is 0-2-1 when playing at home this season. The Brown and White is 1-1 against Northeast Conference opponents with a win over Fairleigh Dickinson the road and a loss to Robert Morris at home. Saint Francis is 4-3 in road contests this season. The Red Flash is 2-1 against Patriot League opponents with home wins over Loyola and Bucknell, in addition to a loss on the road at Colgate.

The Mountain Hawks are 3-1-1 against SFU in the all-time series, which began in 1991. The two sides played to a scoreless draw last season in Loretto, Pa.

Following Tuesday's game, the Mountain Hawks will resume Patriot League play with a trip to Colgate on Saturday. Kickoff is slated for 4:30 p.m.
