
Freshman Jahn paces Mountain Hawks at Kingsmill Intercollegiate

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Freshman Reagan Jahn posted a top 20 individual finish to lead the Lehigh women's golf team as the Kingsmill Intercollegiate wrapped up Tuesday on the River Course at the Kingsmill Resort. Jahn was the only Mountain Hawk to break 80 in Tuesday's final round as she shot 78 to finish in a tie for 17th place at 15 over par 231 (76-77-78).  She ranked among the tournament leaders with six birdies over her 54 holes in the two-day event.

The Mountain Hawks shot 329 as a team Tuesday, which was good enough to move Lehigh up into 14th place in the 19 team field with a final score of 967 (320-318-329).

Lehigh's second-lowest round on Tuesday was turned in by sophomore Megan Moylan, who carded an 82. Moylan finished at 250 (86-82-82) and tied for 80th place.

Senior Nicole Feierberg capped her first spring event by tying for 45th place at 241 (76-80-85).

Junior Elizabeth McGarrigle and freshman Aileen Jeong were part of a tie for 74th at 249. McGarrigle shot 85 after back-to-back rounds of 82 on Monday, while Jeong carded a final round 84 after shooting 86 and 79 in two rounds Monday.

Sathika Ruenreong of Toledo shot a final round 73 to overtake Alessandra Liu of host William & Mary for individual medalist honors. Ruenreong finished at one over par 217 (71-73-73) to defeat Liu by one stroke.

Toledo captured the team title at 44 over par 908 (304-296-308) to defeat Penn by eight strokes while host William & Mary finished in third place.

Next up for the Mountain Hawks will be the Navy Spring Tournament, April 9-10 in Annapolis, Md.
