HAMILTON, N.Y. – The Lehigh men's golf team placed two individuals in the top ten as the Mountain Hawks opened their fall season by tying for sixth in a 14 team field at the Colgate Invitational, which wrapped up Sunday at the Seven Oaks Golf Club. Senior Carlos Kim tied for fifth while junior Harley Abrams shot a two under par 70 Sunday to move into a tie for ninth place.

The Mountain Hawks shot 304 in the final round to finish at 924 (308-312-304). Lehigh tied Binghamton for sixth and were just five strokes behind third place finisher St. Bonaventure. Army claimed the team title with an impressive nine over par 873 (295-288-290) to defeat the host Raiders by 12 strokes.

Kim tied for fifth at seven over par 223 (76-72-75), while Abrams rebounded from a second round 80 to shoot 70 on Sunday and finish at 224.

Lehigh's next highest finisher was freshman Billy Johns, who shot three consecutive rounds of 79 and tied for 43rd at 2:37. Sophomore Brendan Worthy shot 240 (79-81-80) and tied for 53rd, while junior Dave Olexson finished 70th at 249 (79-85-85).

Colgate's Ryan Allison was the individual medalist at two under par 214 (73-70-71). He edged Army's Dean Sakata by one stroke.
