BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Entering the 54th and final hole of the Patriot League Women's Golf Championship, Lehigh senior Crystal Lee and Boston University's Kristyna Pavlickova were tied for the individual lead. Lee birdied the 18th hole, the final hole of her college career to win the individual Patriot League title as the championship concluded Sunday on the Grace Course at Saucon Valley Country Club.

Lee carded a 76 in Sunday's final round to finish at eight over par 224 (75-73-76). She earns first team All-Patriot League honors for the second straight year and earns the Patriot League Player of the Year award.

"What a high pressure situation she was in," said Lehigh head coach Judy Dwyer of Lee's final hole dramatics. "They were even but the 18th was a little tricky with where the pin placement was. When Pavlickova's shot went left I told Crystal that the door was open and she put her approach right in the middle of the green. The putt was just perfect."

As a team, the Mountain Hawks entered Sunday's final round just one stroke behind Bucknell but a tough round of 319 dropped Lehigh into third place at 939 (311-309-319). After Lehigh won the inaugural league championship on Bucknell's home course last year, the Bison returned the favor, finishing at 930 (313-306-311) to hold off a late surge from Boston University (320-311-302-933) to hold off the Terriers by three strokes and win the team title on Lehigh's home course.

"It was exciting to be in first place after the first round," Dwyer said. "We were right there after the second round, but today things just didn't drop for us. We were playing our hearts out but just couldn't get things to go."

In addition to Lee's All-League recognition, junior Kelly Moylan and sophomore Nicole Feierberg tied for ninth at 240 to earn second team All-Patriot League honors. Feierberg posted Lehigh's second lowest score on Sunday with a 78 to finish 79-83-78. Moylan scored 80-78-82 in her three rounds to become a two-time All-League performer.

Junior Alyssa Scheyd fell one place short of All-League honors, finishing in 11th place at 77-83-83-243. Also competing for the Mountain Hawks were junior Melanie Dickens, who finished 19th at 254 (84-80-90) and freshman Elizabeth McGarrigle who shot 257 (90-78-89) and finished in 20th place.

The champion Bison had three players finish in the top five led by Lauren Bernard, who finished third at 228 (79-73-76), four strokes behind Lee.

Boston University had three All-League performers, including Pavlickova, who bogeyed the 54th hole to finish two strokes behind Lee, and Emily Tillo, who shot 74 for Sunday's low round to tie for seventh.

BU's Adela Cejnarova tied for fifth and won the Rookie of the Year award as the top freshman finisher. The Terriers also had the Coach of the Year in Bruce Chalas.

The Mountain Hawks will lose two seniors, Lee and Elizabeth Sander to graduation. Lehigh did win a pair of spring tournaments: the Warner University Invitational and the Red Flash Invitational.
