SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Continued rain in the San Diego area has forced the cancellation of all games in the San Diego Classic I. Lehigh was originally scheduled to face Utah and Colorado State before its opponents were switched to Fresno State and San Diego State following a near-total washout Saturday.
The Mountain Hawks' scheduled game against San Diego State will now be played Monday at 6 p.m. PT at the SDSU Softball Stadium.
Lehigh (0-5) did get one game in on Saturday as the Mountain Hawks fell to Colorado State 4-1 in five innings in a rain-shortened affair in Imperial, Calif.
Following Monday's game against San Diego State, the Mountain Hawks are currently scheduled to play single games at San Diego Tuesday night and Long Beach State on Wednesday, before closing out their spring break trip with five games in three days at the LMU Invitational beginning Thursday in Los Angeles.
