BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- The Lehigh women's basketball team looks to rebound from a tough loss to Army Wednesday when Bucknell enters Stabler Arena at 7 p.m. The Bison currently sit in fourth place in the Patriot League and took the first meeting of the season, 82-68, in Lewisburg. The game will be broadcast live on Service Electric 2 Sports (Channel 50) in the Lehigh Valley and for free online via the Patriot League Network.

The Mountain Hawks couldn't hold on to a 17-point halftime lead as second-place Army outscored Lehigh 48-22 in the second half to claim its 20th win of the season. The Black Knights' Kelsey Minato scored 31 points, including 18 in the second half, to lead the Army comeback.

Sophomore Kerry Kinek led the Mountain Hawks with 18 points and five rebounds. Junior Sarah Williams chipped in 15 on a 4-for-4 effort from downtown, while freshman Kiernan McCloskey tallied a career-high 12 points after shooting 4-for-4 from floor with a three-pointer added in.

Lehigh shot 44.9 percent (22-for-49) from the floor for the game. The Mountain Hawks made 5-of-23 shots in the second half following a 17-for-26 effort in the first. Army shot 55.2 percent (16-for-29) in the second half and 40.9 percent (27-for-66) for the game. Army held a 40-34 rebound advantage including an 18-8 edge on the offensive glass.

A win would guarantee that Lehigh would host a game in the opening round of the Patriot League Tournament on Tuesday. Should Lehigh lose and Colgate win, Saturday's matchup between the two squads in Hamilton would be for home court advantage in the opening round.

The Bison secured a seat in the quarterfinals of the Patriot League tournament and guaranteed themselves a winning record for the first time since the 2008-09 season with a 62-50 win over Boston University Saturday afternoon.

Senior Shelby Romine and freshman Claire DeBoer each tallied a double-double in the contest. Romine recorded a game-high 20 points and pulled down 11 rebounds, while DeBoer notched 11 points and 13 rebounds. Romine and DeBoer were named Patriot League Player and Rookie of the Week, respectively, for their contributions.

The Bison trailed 34-33 with 14 minutes remaining, but Bucknell responded with an 18-4 run over the next seven minutes to build a 13-point lead. The Bison finished the game shooting 28.3 percent from the field, despite shooting just 22.6 percent in the first half. Bucknell also shot 79.3 percent (23-for29) from the charity stripe.

Senior Audrey Dotson leads the Bison with 15.8 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. Romine contributes an average of 15.2 points per game and has dished a team-leading 113 assists.
