PISCATAWAY, N.J. – The Lehigh women's golf team battled wet weather Saturday in the final round of the Rutgers Invitational. The Mountain Hawks shot 323 in the final round at the Rutgers University Golf Course to finish seventh out of 17 teams at 644 (321-323). Lehigh finish just four strokes out of the top five.

Senior captain Kelly Moylan was Lehigh's top individual finisher, tying for 17th at 156 after back-to-back rounds of 78. Junior Nicole Feierberg matched Moylan for low round for Lehigh on the weekend with a 78 Saturday and tied for 21st at 159 (81-78).

Also competing for the Mountain Hawks were seniors Alyssa Scheyd and Melanie Dickens and sophomore Claire Serruto. Scheyd tied for 47th place at 164 (79-85), while Dickens improved from an opening round 86 with an 82 on Saturday and tied for 63rd at 168. Serruto shot 172 (83-89) and tied for 73rd place.

Two Mountain Hawk freshmen, Megan Moylan and Casey Farmer, competed as individuals and both players tied for 65th place at 169. Moylan shot 83-86 over the 36 hole event, while Farmer carded an 84 and a 85.

LIU-Brooklyn shot 301 as a team Saturday to win the team title by one stroke over the host Scarlet Knights of Rutgers. The Blackbirds finished at 307-301-688.

Anna Kim of St. John's and Christina Felip of LIU-Brooklyn tied for low individual at two over par 144. Kim finished with an impressive final round of three under par 69.

Next up for the Mountain Hawks is the Princeton Invitational, October 18-19 in New Jersey.Â
