
Mountain Hawks continue fall slate at Princeton Invitational

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh women's golf team will head to New Jersey this weekend to compete in the 16th Princeton Invitation, Saturday and Sunday at Springdale Golf Club.
The Mountain Hawks finished ninth overall in last week's Bucknell Invitational where they competed against 16 other teams. Sophomore Nicole Feierberg led Lehigh on the weekend with a 19th-place finish 236 (79-79-78). Junior Kelly Moylan also played well for the Mountain Hawks finishing in 22nd place at 82-79-78-239.
William & Mary finished at 912 (310-302-300) to take the team title by ten strokes over both Columbia and Seton Hall.
The Springdale Golf Club plays at 6,131 and has a par of 72. The Mountain Hawks are one of eight teams in the field along with Columbia, Delaware, Harvard, Penn, St. John's, Seton Hall and host Princeton.
The ladies are set to tee off at 8 a.m. on both Saturday and Sunday with tee times split between the 1st and 10th holes. Harvard was the most recent champion in 2011, where current Crimson junior Tiffany Lim was the individual champion. The Princeton Invitational was not held last fall, but Lehigh did compete in the most recent tournament in 2011. The Mountain Hawks finished tenth in a 12 team field with current senior Crystal Lee tying for Lehigh's top individual honors with a 26th place finish.
Following this weekend's action in New Jersey, Lehigh will head to New Haven, Conn. to participate in the Yale invitational next weekend.
