Three shoot 74 as Lehigh takes second at LV Collegiate

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – In its final tune-up before this weekend's Patriot League Championship, Lehigh placed second at the four-team Lehigh Valley Collegiate Tuesday, hosted by Moravian College on the Weyhill Course at Saucon Valley Country Club. The Mountain Hawks top-five scorers totaled 375, four strokes behind rival Lafayette, who captured the cup for the third straight year.
 
The trio of sophomore Andrew Arnold, junior Sean Keller and freshman Carlos Kim led Lehigh as part of a five-way tie for second place at three over par 74. Sophomore Alex DiClemente was one shot behind at 75, tying for seventh place, while senior Doug Marcincin was Lehigh's fifth scorer, finishing 12th with a round of 78.
 
Others who competed for the Mountain Hawks were senior Tim Rosenhouse, who tied for 17th after an 80, and freshman Zach Allinson, who shot 81 and tied for 20th.
 
Lafayette's Carter Rufe won the individual title with a 73.
 
The host Greyhounds of Moravian finished third as their top five shot 390, while Muhlenberg rounded out the field with a team score of 417.
 
Next up for the Mountain Hawks will be the Patriot League Championships, Saturday and Sunday on the Bucknell Golf Course in Lewisburg, Pa.
