Clark earns Academic All-Patriot League team selection

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh junior volleyball player Amanda Clark earned a selection to the Academic All-Patriot League team for the second-consecutive year after her impressive efforts in the classroom and on the court this season. Clark currently holds a 3.73 GPA as a Biology major, while also finishing the regular season second on the team with 203 kills and third with a .240 hitting percentage.
The four-time member of the Dean's List has received the Faculty Athletics' Council Award four times while at Lehigh as well as earned two trips to the Patriot League's Academic Honor Roll and a selection as the team's Scholar-Athlete for two-consecutive seasons.
She finished the regular season with a team-high 2.90 kills per set which ranked her fourth in the Patriot League. After recording 39 kills and a .325 hitting percentage for the week ending on October 21, Clark was named the Molten Patriot League Player of the Week for her efforts that also resulted in the Mountain Hawks' win over Colgate which was then undefeated in Patriot League play.
The 6-1 middle blocker has been a fixture of the Mountain Hawk line-up since stepping on the court as a freshman when she finished second on the team after averaging 0.70 blocks per set. Last season, she was second on the team with a .267 hitting percentage and finished fourth with 172 kills.
This is the second-straight season that Clark has been named to the Academic All-Patriot League team, demonstrating her commitment to being a student-athlete.
