Arnold's 75 leads Mountain Hawks at Lehigh Valley Collegiate

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Freshman Andrew Arnold shot a three over par 75 to finish second overall, leading Lehigh to a second place finish at the Lehigh Valley Collegiate Thursday on the Grace Course at Saucon Valley Country Club. The Mountain Hawks' five scorers shot a total score of 388, four behind arch rival Lafayette as the Leopards repeated as team champions with a 384.
 
Arnold's 75 included a one under par 35 on the front nine en route to his runner-up finish. All seven Mountain Hawks competed with the top five contributing to the team score. Junior Tim Rosenhouse and sophomore Sean Keller were part of a four-way tie for third place after shooting 77 on the day. Junior captain Doug Marcincin tied for eighth with a 79, while senior Duncan Zeiders shot 80 to tie for 11th place.
 
Senior Dwight D'Iorio and freshman Alex DiClemente rounded out the Mountain Hawks who competed as both players shot 81 to tie for 14th.
 
Lafayette's Tyler Ostrovsky earned medalist honors, shooting a one over par 73, two shots better than Arnold.
 
Muhlenberg College finished third as the Mules top five scorers totaled a 413. Moravian rounded out the field, with the Greyhounds team of four players combining to shoot 334.
The Mountain Hawks will return to action next weekend at the Patriot League Championships, April 30 and May 1 at the Naval Academy Golf Course in Annapolis, Md.
