BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh will wrap-up its season-opening four game home stand with a pair of games this weekend at the Ulrich Sports Complex. Head coach Julie Mazer will face her alma mater when the Mountain Hawks host West Chester on Friday afternoon, while on Sunday Lehigh will take on Saint Francis (Pa.).

Last weekend Lehigh split its first two games of 2010 as the Mountain Hawks opened the season with a 4-1 victory over Sacred Heart, but fell in the next game against Quinnipiac by the same score.

Sophomore Kim Eng leads the Brown and White with six points on two goals and two assists in 2010, as she scored the game-winner versus Sacred Heart and accounted for Lehigh's lone goal against Quinnipiac as well. Senior Katey Fardelmann and juniors Madison Ingal and Abby Tilton have each accounted for a goal as well. In the goal cage, senior co-captain Jessica Miller owns a 3.21 goals against average and has made eight saves.

West Chester is off to a 2-0 start this season with victories over Fordham (3-0) and Sacred Heart (3-1) under its belt. The Golden Rams are led offensively by junior Nicole Fiorilla, who has accounted for three of the team's six goals this year. For her efforts last weekend, Fiorilla was named the Atlantic 10 Player of the Week on Tuesday. Sophomores Kristen Arnold and Gabby Panasiewicz have split time in the goal cage for West Chester, with Arnold earning both starts.

On Sunday, Saint Francis visits the Ulrich Sports Complex in the final game of the home stand. The Red Flash dropped their first two games on the season's opening weekend, losing to Davidson (5-0) and Georgetown (4-0) with both games being played in Washington, D.C. Saint Francis will open its home schedule against Temple on Friday before visiting Bethlehem on Sunday. The Red Flash have yet to score in 2010, while goalkeeper Katelyn Vitili has played all but nine minutes in two games and has made 16 saves.

Friday's contest will be the 29th all-time meeting between Lehigh and West Chester; the Golden Rams hold a 20-7-1 edge overall. The teams have met every season since 2002 and West Chester has prevailed in each of the last four matchups. The last time Lehigh defeated West Chester was in 2004, a 3-2 win at the Ulrich Sports Complex.

The Mountain Hawks have faced Saint Francis in each of the last three seasons and have won all three meetings, scoring three goals in each victory. Last year Lehigh prevailed 3-1 in Loretto, Pa., with Eng providing a goal and two assists and Caitlin Donnelly finding the back of the cage as well.

Action begins Friday at 4 p.m. with the Lehigh-West Chester contest. Sunday's game versus Saint Francis is slated for a 1 p.m. start. Live stats for both games will be available on Lehighsports.com.
