WHY LEHIGH? “All it took was an official visit to convince me that Lehigh University was my perfect fit. The beauty of the campus combined with the amazing bond that the team shared drew me in immediately. That and Lehigh’s expanding Global Studies program opened a lot of new opportunities for me.”
ON PLAYING FIELD HOCKEY AT LEHIGH: “Being a LUFHer is like nothing I’ve ever experienced. It’s pushing yourself to the limits over and over again. It’s having twenty-some sisters who are fun and hilarious and will run to your aid whenever you need it. It’s about being apart of something bigger than yourself.”
AS A JUNIOR (2010): Breakout campaign, leading the Mountain Hawks with seven goals and 14 points … Finished eighth in the Patriot League in goals per game (0.44) … Second on the team with 33 shots, also 10th in the Patriot League in shots per game (2.06) … Played in all 16 games, starting 15 … First Team All-Patriot League honoree … Member of the league’s inaugural All-Academic Team … Captured the Lehigh Field Hockey Coaches’ Award … Honorable Mention on the Patriot League weekly honor roll on numerous occasions … Scored what proved to be the game-winning goal in the season finale vs. Holy Cross (10/30) … Had a goal at league rival Colgate (10/9) … Second-career multi-goal game at La Salle (9/25), netting both Lehigh goals in a 3-2 defeat … Huge game vs. Saint Joseph’s (9/15), posting first-career hat trick … Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll and NFHCA National Academic Squad.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2009): Saw time in 17 games, starting four … Scored only goal of the season in win over Saint Francis … Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll and NFHCA National Academic Squad.
