BETHLEHEM, Pa. – For the second time in as many weeks, Lehigh junior quarterback Chris Lum has been named Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week. Lum threw for 212 yards and three touchdowns as the Mountain Hawks clinched at least a share of the Patriot League championship with a 34-17 win at Holy Cross.

Lum shook off a slow start to complete 21-of-33 passes on Saturday. He threw touchdown passes in each of the first three quarters, finding senior Craig Zurn and Alex Wojdowski in the first half, and junior Jake Drwal in the third quarter, and connected with seven different receivers on the day. Lum also enjoyed a career-best day on the ground where he led the Mountain Hawks with 64 rushing yards on eight carries. He earned the Edward N. Anderson award as the Most Valuable Player in Holy Cross' family weekend game.

The Lake Orion, Michigan native has been a catalyst for Lehigh during its current five-game winning streak. Since returning from injury, Lum has averaged 247 passing yards per game and has thrown 12 touchdowns with just two interceptions.

Lehigh has already clinched a share of its Patriot League-leading ninth championship and its first since 2006. The Mountain Hawks can clinch their first NCAA playoff berth since 2004 with a win over Georgetown Saturday in Washington, D.C. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. with radio coverage on ESPN Radio 1230 and 1320 as well as online at Lehighsports.com.
