Cross Country hands out awards

The Lehigh men’s and women’s cross country teams held their banquet recently and honored several members of each team for outstanding play, leadership and a combination of scholarship with athletics. Award Recipients
Among the awards presented were the Athlete of the Year Award, presented to the team member who makes the most outstanding athletic contribution to the accomplishments of the team, the Scholar-Athlete Award, awarded to the athlete who in the eyes of his/her teammates exemplifies the ideal of the scholar-athlete, and the Coaches Award, given to the individual who made significant contributions to the team in terms of attitude, improvement, or special leadership.
