Wetzel and Scotto on <I>Lehigh Sports Magazine</I>

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Yes that’s right, there is an all-new episode of the Lehigh Sports Magazine, premiering Monday, October 27 on WFMZ-TV (channel 69) and Lehighsports.com. Guests this week include senior cross country runners Jon Wetzel and Kim Scotto. The Patriot League Championships are this weekend on Goodman Campus, and Jon and Kim are chatting about their preparations for the big showdown among all Patriot League schools.

Also on the show are first year Lawrence E. White Head Coach, Pat Santoro alongside senior wrestler Trevor Chinn. With wrestle-offs less than a week away, they discuss their outlook on the upcoming 2008-09 season.

For the third time this season, Lehigh Sports Magazine will include a behind-the-scenes feature on the Lehigh men’s soccer team on their road trip to face #6 Maryland. On and off the field, you will get to know the inside scoop of life as a Lehigh men’s soccer player.

As always, head football coach Andy Coen will be on the set to look back at Saturday’s last non Patriot League game at Holy Cross, and to preview this week’s on the road match-up in Washington, D.C. against Georgetown.

For nearly 15 years, the Lehigh Sports Magazine has been delivering Lehigh fans interviews with every head coach, special player appearances, highlights, and much more. The half-hour show can be seen every Monday night in the Lehigh Valley, Philadelphia, and western New Jersey at 8:30 p.m. on WFMZ-TV. WFMZ is located on Service Electric Cable TV dial position 8.

For the sixth consecutive year, the Lehigh Sports Magazine is available via streaming video on the Lehigh athletics web site on-demand beginning each Monday night. The web broadcast is streamed as part of Lehigh’s partnership with Yahoo! Sports. Each show is archived and may be viewed on-demand at no extra cost as part of the Lehigh subscription package.

For those outside the WFMZ-TV viewing area, the show airs each week via Lehigh television partner Fox College Sports Atlantic, available in over 56 million homes on digital cable systems nationwide. The Lehigh Sports Magazine will air each Friday at 1:30 p.m. ET on FCS Atlantic, with several additional showings to follow.

Locally, the Lehigh Sports Magazine can be seen each Tuesday afternoon at 5:30 p.m. on Service Electric 2 Sports. Service Electric is the largest cable television system (number of subscribers) in the Lehigh Valley.
