Lehigh hosts two league matches this weekend

The Colgate Raiders will invade Taylor Gym on Friday at 7 p.m. Colgate is currently in second place in the Patriot League, with just one conference loss to first place American. Following the loss to American, the Raiders have rolled off three straight victories, including wins over third place Army and fourth place Navy, the latter of which came on the road.
Katrinia Zawojski leads the Colgate offensive attack with 259 kills and a .278 attack percentage. Zawojski also gets it done on the defensive side of the ball, ranking second on the team with 151 digs and third on the team with 36 total blocks.
The Raiders also feature an outstanding rookie in middle blocker Casey Ritt. She leads the team with 59 blocks and also ranks first among freshmen in the Patriot League, averaging 0.84 blocks per game. Ritt is also second on the team with a .254 hitting percentage and ranks third among Patriot League freshmen in that category.
Earlier this season, the Mountain Hawks traveled to Colgate, dropping the match 3-0. In that match, Lehigh was led offensively by Brittany Thurston, who hit .286, recording nine kills and ten digs. Shannon Spafford led the team with 13 kills, while also recording nine digs and four total blocks. Freshman Brittany Dickinson had another tremendous game at setter, recording 30 assists in the match.
The Raiders did not have a single player in double digit kills; however, a great all-around team effort gave Colgate the win. Erin Kanetzke was one of three Raiders with nine kills, and she also hit a match high .571. Jackie Adlam led Colgate with 19 digs, while Meghan Fanta recorded a match high 37 assists.
On Saturday, it will be the Bucknell Bison who come to
Bucknell has one of the nation’s top offensive threats in Jenna Henderson, who ranks 36th in the country, averaging 4.64 kills per game.
The Bison and Mountain Hawks met up earlier this season, with Bucknell taking the match 3-0, in
Henderson and Segal led the Bison, with 14 and 11 kills respectively. Heidi Kamp hit a match high .438 with nine kills for Bucknell, while also recording five digs and eight total blocks.
