Patriot League announces preseason poll

BETHLEHEM, Pa.-The Patriot League announced its 2007 Volleyball Preseason Poll on Tuesday, with American garnering all but two of the first place votes. The Mountain Hawks received 20 votes and were picked to finish eighth. The preseason poll is voted on by the league’s eight head coaches and sports information directors.
Lehigh enters the season with a new coaching staff and a team made up of mostly underclassmen. With just one senior and two juniors on the squad, first year coach Jenny Maurer will be able to give her younger players plenty of playing time, which should benefit the team greatly in the long run.
The Brown and White will open up its season this weekend, when Lehigh travels to
