Lehigh announces 2005 fall broadcast schedule

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – With the fall season barely a week away, Lehigh Athletics has announced its 2005 fall television, radio, and Internet broadcast schedule. Several men’s and women’s soccer, field hockey, and volleyball games will be broadcast live on the Lehigh web site as part of the Yahoo! Sports College Broadcast package. The broadcast package features several exciting new wrinkles in 2005. New this year, most games now feature live streaming video in addition to play-by-play audio at no additional charge. Lehigh has also teamed up with the Lehigh Valley’s largest cable television provider – Service Electric – to televise 12 home games this fall on its award-winning 2 Sports outlet. Lehigh Athletics has also worked out an agreement with Fox College Sports to air those 12 contests on a tape-delayed basis via FCS Atlantic. Fox College Sports can be found nationwide on many digital cable systems.
Parents, fans, and alumni around the world can tune in to the live action of a variety of Lehigh sporting events via lehighsports.com. By subscribing to the Yahoo! broadcast package, fans will have access to nearly 200 Lehigh sporting events. The package also includes the Lehigh Sports Magazine – Lehigh’s weekly television show featuring highlights and interviews from coaches and student-athletes from all of the aforementioned sports.
