Lehigh names Moran as new volleyball coach

Moran enjoyed a great deal of success as head coach at Wilmington, leading the Wildcats to the top of the CACC Conference with a two-year conference record of 38-0, two consecutive undefeated seasons in the CACC and a conference Coach of the Year honor as well. Moran’s 2002 Wildcats became the first team in school and conference history to go undefeated in a season, while winning both the conference and Region Ten Championships.
“I’m honored to take over a program that has enjoyed so much recent success and I look forward to continuing that success as the new head coach of Lehigh women’s volleyball,” Moran said.
Prior to being head coach at Wilmington, Moran served as an assistant at Wilmington for two seasons, where she was responsible for the scouting and recruiting of prospective student-athletes, while also assisting the head coach with planning and scheduling practices. Moran has also served as head coach at
Moran, who received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Physical Education and Health Promotion from the University of Louisville, also spent time as an assistant women’s basketball and conditioning coach at Georgia State University in Atlanta.
