Singleton doubles up again in Lehigh win

Bethlehem, PA- Jeanette Singleton is on an absolute tear, and her outstanding play led Lehigh (12-8, 4-2) to their third straight victory Saturday night over Holy Cross (5-14, 2-4) by a score of 3-0. The Mountain Hawks dominated the action from the get-go, taking the first two games 30-13, 30-14. Holy Cross proved tougher in the third game, keeping it close until the end before losing 30-22. Singleton had a double-double for the second straight match, posting 19 kills and 19 digs in only three games. Head coach Although no one else registered double digits in kills, Katie Dukatz and Rebecca Gawronski had nine kills apiece and Michelle Schwendenmann had seven. Allison Jack averaged 14 assists per game, totaling 42 overall. Caitlin Agostinacchio paced the Crusaders with seven kills and six digs. Lehigh has won three straight league matches and is now alone in third place in the Patriot League. Their next match is Wednesday night at Taylor Gym as non-league opponent Loyola comes calling.
