Bethlehem, PA – The Lehigh volleyball season has been over for more than two months, however, on Wednesday, the Patriot League handed out yet another award for six Lehigh student-athletes. Erin Breithaupt, Rebecca Gawronski, Rochelle Healea, Jill Kober, Jill Racketa, and Samantha Stahl were among 49 Patriot League players honored as members of the league’s Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible, a student-athlete must earn at least a 3.20 GPA in their semester of competition.
Libero Jill Kober managed the top GPA among the six Mountain Hawks, posting a 3.78 in Mathematics. Stahl earned a 3.59 in Biology, Racketa a 3.55 in Biology/Pre-Med, Gawronski a 3.50 in Education, Healea a 3.41 in Chemical Engineering, and Breithaupt a 3.26 in Engineering.
Lehigh enjoyed a 21-13 season and finished second in the Patriot League behind eventual league tournament champion American. The Mountain Hawks earned a first round tournament win and became only the third different team to win a game from the Eagles and the only league team to hold them under 23 points.
